Beat the Heat Makeup Ideas! - Face edition

Holly hotness! Talk about heat wave! I love this weather but your makeup may not.  It's only natural that your body reacts with sweat to help keep you cool, but it doesn't mean your makeup has to wash away with it. So enjoy a few easy tips to keep your face in check.

Take time to prime. Yes, this simple step helps prolong foundation and keeps color rich.  All you need is about a pea-size amount of this lightweight serum to cover your whole face.  Things to consider when deciding which primer to use (yes, there are many to choose from), what does your skin need?  Is your skin oily or more mature? With temperatures hitting over 30 degrees today in Montreal and TWO photo shoots planned with Isabella of Ella Photography, needless to say it was intense! However, it was the perfect day to hit the parks and celebrate a couple of fabulous contest winners, Prell and Lauren, with their loved ones.  So here are a few teasers from today's fun-filled adventures.

Montreal's weather has a reputation of being unreliable and considering the last few outdoor shoots planned with Isa of Ella Photography were postponed due to rain, we had to have a serious talk with Mother Nature.  Luckily for us, our shoot was actually two hours out of the city, in Sutton and negotiations were a success.  We had INCREDIBLE weather (the drive home was a different story, but hey! we weren't taking pics of that hehe). Imagine the excitement when we arrived at the beautiful Vignoble Chapelle Ste Agnès Vineyard and had nothing but blue skies and beautiful landscaping!
